The 9th IUPAC International Conference on Green Chemistry (9th ICGC), will take place in Athens, Greece, on 5th – 9th September 2022 at Zappeion Megaron, with the option of on-line participation.

The Zappeion Megaron, designed  by T. Hansen (1874-1888), is an important part of Greek cultural heritage. Zappeion Megaron has received its name from Evangelis Zappas, a Greek patriot and philanthropist, who envisaged the rebirth of the spirit of ancient Greece and devoted his life to the revival of the Olympic Games.

For the last 130 years, the Zappeion Megaron has hosted significant events, including international scientific conferences and commercial exhibitions in more recent years.
